After nearly a year of waiting, Netflix’s Beastars anime has received a return date for its final season.

Netflix’s Beastars anime returns to our screens this December.

The series, which revolves around the world of anthropomorphic animals and the division of society between carnivores and herbivores, will return for the first part of its final season on Netflix from December 5th. The second (and final) part will air in 2025.

However, it’s been a long time coming for Beastars fans. The latest season has been in the 2024 release window for several months now, and then into December. Netflix also announced its decision to split Beast Stars Season 3 two ways back in March.

Luckily, viewers will be treated to a new trailer in the remaining weeks. In it, the series’ protagonist Legoshi lays out his intentions to start a family with his partner Haru, but not while he’s from the Beastars. Meanwhile, a new villain is waiting in the wings: Melon, described in the trailer as “toxicity on the move.”

“After a confrontation with Rhys, Legoshi decides to drop out of school and begins living alone in the Beast Apartments. Meanwhile, Louis, who abandoned Young BEASTARS and graduated from the academy, decides to finally meet his father, Ogma.” Newly released Netflix synopsis The final season begins.

“Haru, who is enjoying her student life, faces an endless series of troubles. Around this time, the current BEAST Yahya is pursuing Melon, a violent criminal who seeks pleasure in killing beasts. Several new characters will also join the fray in the final season of Beastars. These include the Komodo monitor Gosha, the horse Yahya and Legoshi’s neighbor, the sheep Seven.

Thus, the third season of Beastars will most likely adapt the “Interspecies” and “Revenge of Love Failure” arcs from Paru Itagaki’s manga, ending Legoshi and Haru’s story for good.
