‘Wheel of Fortune’ Reacts to Child Watching Show – ‘Never Misses an Episode’

Wheel of Fortune bosses were fascinated after someone shared a video of a child watching the TV show and said he “never misses” it.

The long-running game show is likely aimed at an older audience than the children’s sector. But at least one child seemed to find it exciting, and it appears to be their “favorite” show rather than any children’s series or animated adventure.

A clip posted on X that used to be Twitter– showed the baby sitting on the floor in the living room, dressed in overalls.

At his disposal on the floor were many bright and attractive toys. But rattles and walkers were not of particular interest, since Wheel of Fortune A popular show was playing on the large TV screen on the wall, attracting the child’s attention.

The person who uploaded the cute video said the child watched every episode of the quiz show. Celebrating host Ryan Seacrestthey wrote: “@RyanSeacrest @WheelofFortune he never misses an episode. This is his favorite show.”

The show quickly responded to the social media post, posting a message from its official account: “Aw so cute!” They added a red heart emoji.

Wheel of Fortune has been hugely popular with audiences since its first run in 1975. Nearly 50 years later, it’s still a big part of the show’s viewing schedule, and earlier this year it returned for episode 42 with Seacrest as the new host.

American Idol the star took over after Pat Sajak’s departure after 41 seasons at the helm. The veteran host joined the game show in 1981, but in 2023 it was confirmed that he would be stepping down after a long career and would hand over the reins to another host.

Shortly thereafter, it was announced that Seacrest would take his place. Approaching the role in the new series, he said that hosting Wheel of Fortune was a “dream job” for him and thanked the audience for the warm welcome.

“I’ve been a fan of the show since I was a kid, watching it in Atlanta with my family,” he said.

“I know how special it is, Wheel has been in your living rooms for the last 40 years,” the TV star added. “I am so grateful that I was invited. I also know that I have a very big position to take on.”

Newsweek sent an email to the representative at Wheel of Fortune for comments.
