KUWAIT, November 6: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has announced the winners of its monthly and weekly draw for its Al Dirwaza Account 2024 campaign, which features the highest number of winners in a year. The monthly and weekly draw based on October customer deposits was held recently in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry as well as representatives of the Bank. Khawla Mohammed Abdullah Almesfir and Manal Yasin Ibrahim Abdullah were named the lucky winners of the monthly draw, with each customer walking away with a prize of KWD 5,000. It should be noted that the AlDirwaza account is an individual savings account based on the Wakala investment principle launched by KIB as one of its retail banking products. This account is currently the best of its kind in the sector, with an expected annual return of up to 2% paid monthly, with the client receiving an expected return of 2% for the first 3 months from the account opening date onwards. up to 1% of the expected rate and beyond. The expected profit is automatically credited to the client’s account on the first day of each month.

Al Dirwaza account holders are eligible to participate in weekly, monthly and annual draws, provided they have at least KWD 100 in their account. For weekly and monthly draws, every 1 KD that completes a full monthly cycle in the account will count as one chance, and odds are calculated based on the lowest monthly balance prior to the draw. For the Mega Draw, odds are calculated for every 1 KD that completes a two-month cycle on the account, based on the two lowest balances two months prior to the draw.

The Al Dirwaza account is also Islamic Sharia compliant and approved by KIB’s Sharia Supervisory Board. In addition, the account has a wide range of advantages, including the ease of opening an account that does not require salary transfers, as well as the ability for the client to open it remotely, without visiting a branch, through KIB Online on the Bank’s website or KIB Mobile. application on smartphones.

In addition, the Al Dirwaza account automatically provides customers with instant issuance of an ATM card with a daily ATM withdrawal limit of 2,000 dinars, as well as the ability to issue credit cards against cash collateral in the account. To open an account and participate in its draws, a minimum of 100 dinars is required, which can only be withdrawn after the account is closed.
