Pennsylvania State Representatives Greg Scott and Matthew Bradford retain their seats

NORRISTOWN – Current Staff Rep. Greg Scott, D-54th District. won re-election Tuesday with 18,166 votes to 7,917 for Republican candidate Martin Dickerson, according to unofficial results in Montgomery County.

Scott, a former magistrate district judge, was elected in 2022 to represent the then-newly created legislative district covering parts of Conshohocken, Norristown and Plymouth Township.

State Representative Matt Bradford, D-70th District., also easily defeated Democratic challenger Ed Moy. Bradford, who has held the position since 2009, received 23,868 votes to 15,975 for Moye, a Norristown resident who served in the U.S. Air Force and the Pennsylvania State Police as a state trooper and corporal.

Bradford, of Worcester Township, is the Democratic chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and the majority leader.

Along with Schwenksville, District 70 includes the townships of East Norriton, Perkiomen, Skippack and Worcester, as well as parts of West Norriton and Whitpain townships.
