• A Mustang driver’s unfortunate slide at a drive-in ended in a collision with a sign.
  • Fortunately, the car did not hit any of the spectators who had gathered around.
  • As with many pony accidents, the driver appeared to be pushing the gas pedal too hard.

If you’re looking for a powerful, rear-wheel drive sports car, the Ford Mustang is the car for you. It’s good that the famous pony car is relatively affordable, but the downside is that it can often end up in the hands of enthusiasts who don’t know how to handle all that power. Case in point: the driver of a black Mustang in the United States.

Incidents Ford Crashes of Mustang drivers leaving car competitions have become so common these days that it is now almost more surprising that a car competition takes place without a Mustang crashing than that a Mustang crashes at the event.

Look: Mustang and SUV collide on highway and all hell breaks loose

In this case the driver Mustang hit the gas pedal as you turn right to leave the event with your rear wheels spinning and your tail out. However, it appears the driver was unable to correct the skid in time and the car continued to slide to the right, jumping the curb and onto a grassy area on the side of the road.

Turning to the grass driver braked briefly, but then accelerated again, trying to get back on the road. The only problem was that there was a large road sign in the way and the driver crashed straight into it, pushing the sign into the road and inevitably damaging the front of the Ford.

Those who attended the event and witnessed the funny accident thoroughly enjoyed it, and we don’t blame them. If we had seen this accident in person, we would probably have laughed too.
