Dog faces consequences after he can’t be trusted to cook

A Nashville service dog was excluded from the company dinner, and internet users can’t stop laughing at the reason.

IN viral video on TikTok As office worker Becky Pugliese shared on Wednesday under the username @beckypugl, the puppy is locked in another room and watches through a glass door as people and another dog enjoy the feast.

“When you can’t be trusted during lunch at the office…don’t worry, lots of pets have been adopted instead,” the post’s caption reads. Newsweek reached out to @beckypugl for comment via Tik Tok comments. We were unable to verify the details of the case.

No matter how sad it may seem, keep dogs away from human food is always a great idea, especially if you don’t know what ingredients were used. This is because many of the foods we safely consume on a daily basis can actually be lethal to our puppies.

Foods such as chocolate, caffeine, xylitol, cinnamon and ice cream are clearly off-limits for dogs. But list of human foods they cannot eat, in fact much longer and also includes some fruits and vegetables.

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), grapes, raisins and raisins are toxic to dogs, as are macadamia nuts, avocados, cherries, tomatoes, mushrooms and asparagus, among other foods.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t share food with your puppy. Actually, eat a lot of human food they can have no problem. These include, but are not limited to, bread, cheese, coconut, corn, ham, honey and peanut butter.

If you think your dog has eaten something harmful, including bones, rubber toys, rocks and socks, or other items that are easy to swallow, call your veterinarian immediately as immediate help could save your puppy’s life.

Symptoms that your dog has eaten something toxic include vomiting; diarrhea; twitching; low energy (lethargy); decreased appetite; standing with a hunched back or adopting a bowing or praying posture due to abdominal pain and constipation.

However, these symptoms may take a couple of days to develop, depending on what your puppy has eaten.

The video quickly went viral on social media and currently has over 864,000 views and nearly 80,000 likes on the platform.

One user, MidEvlDed, commented: “If you look closely you can see him saying the lyrics to Akon’s song locked away.”
