Dr. Phil Calls Trump Rally Speech ‘An Act of Insurrection’

Just a week after Dr. Phil made headlines after speaking at a rally for Donald TrumpThe TV presenter revealed the real reason for his appearance.

Apparently, all because he was angry that the vice president Kamala Harris allegedly insulted him.

“It was an act of rebellion on my part,” the TV presenter, real name Phil McGraw, told Piers Morgan in an interview. Diversity.

“I have asked to speak to Kamala Harris over 25 times and have never received a yes or no, maybe,” he continued.

“I offered to give an identical speech at the Harris rally,” McGraw said.

He also said that in his speech he suggested “crossing out the name Trump and writing the name Harris.”

Dr. Phil then stated that after his speech at the Trump rally, Harris’ campaign reached out to him and he offered to repeat the speech at Harris’ event.

“Sure, tell me when and where to be, and I’ll bring a transcript of the speech and give it at the Harris rally,” he said. “Never heard another word once they knew I was serious.”

Moreover, Dr. Phil stated that despite taking the time to speak at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, he does not support him as a presidential candidate.

He said he didn’t do it “to support Donald Trump. I don’t like celebrity endorsements.”

“I am not going back one iota or one word from what I said (at the Trump rally). “I would still go to a Harris rally and say the exact same thing,” he insisted.

He said he will “never say” who he actually plans to vote for, but he “respects the office of the president,” whoever it is.

People online criticized Dr. Phil’s statement.

“The same speech? This is so cringe-worthy. So, essentially, you have no loyalty or feelings to either one or the other. You just wanted to talk. Narcissist,” one person. tweeted.

“This man just wanted to talk, to talk. (What do you mean) the same speech,” another person repeated.
