APHC vows to resist Indian government’s attempts to erase IIOJK’s unique identity

The all-party Hurriyat Conference has vowed to resist the BJP-led Indian government’s attempts to deprive the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir of their political and religious identity.

In a statement, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas called for the restoration of Kashmir’s special status, asserting that the people of IIOJK will not give up their identity under the BJP-RSS agenda to marginalize the people of the Muslim-majority region.

The spokesman also condemned the Modi government’s ongoing efforts to settle non-Kashmiri Hindus in the territory, calling it a blatant attempt to change the demographic composition of IIOJK against the wishes of its people and in violation of international norms.
