KTET Notification 2024: Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the notification for the November cycle of the Karella Teacher Eligibility Examination (KTET) 2024. Online registration for this exam will begin on November 11th. Candidates interested in becoming teachers in Kerala schools can apply on or before November 20, 2024.

The RTE Act 2009 directs the state to ensure quality requirements in the recruitment of teachers. Persons recruited as teachers must have the necessary abilities and abilities to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of school education. K-TET is an examination to evaluate the qualifications of teacher candidates in lower, upper primary and secondary schools in Kerala.

KTET is an qualifying test conducted for determining the standard or appointment of teachers in lower, upper primary and secondary schools in Kerala. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 18 and 19, 2024, and the admit cards for the exam will be available on January 8, 2025. The exam is divided into four categories as follows:

KTET Exam Date 2024

The KTET exam will be held on January 18 and 19 in two shifts every day. The first shift will be from 10:00 to 12:30, the second shift from 14:00 to 16:30.

Eligibility for participation in KTET 2024

KTET I – Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with at least 45 percent marks. Two-year Trained Teacher Certificate (TTC) from a recognized board.

KTET II – BA/BA/B.Com degree from a recognized university and two years Diploma in Primary Education/Trained Teacher Certificate.

KTET III 0 BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45 percent marks and B.Ed degree. Academic degree in a relevant subject

KTET IV – Eligible to apply for the post of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu Teacher qualified (up to Upper Primary School level).

KTET 2024: Steps to Apply

The link to the KTET online application will be activated on November 11 on the official website. Candidates have until November 20 to submit applications. Below are the steps to apply for the KTET exam:

Step 1: Visit KTET website at ktet.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2: Click “New Registration” and fill out the form with your details.

Step 3: Upload required documents such as certificates and ID cards.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee online.

Step 5: Check the form again for errors and submit it.

Step 6: Finally, download and print a copy of your application for your records, which includes your registration ID.
