DNC Chairman Loses to Bernie Sander for Attacking Democrats

Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Jamie Harrison slapped the senator. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for arguing that Democrats “abandoned working-class voters” on Thursday.

Following the Vice President Kamala Harris defeat in the 2024 presidential election Donald TrumpThe next day, Sanders issued a statement saying the Democratic leadership would prefer to protect the “status quo” rather than rethink how to reach working-class people.

“It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Democratic Party, which abandoned working-class people, will find that the working class has abandoned them,” Sanders wrote on X. “While Democratic Party leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and I want change. And they are right.”

Trump carried every key battleground state Tuesday, including among white and working-class Latino voters, and is poised to win the popular vote nationwide.

It is not surprising that the Democratic Party, having abandoned working class people, would find that the working class has abandoned them.

Harrison responded Thursday morning, calling Sanders’ accusations “downright bullshit,” adding that Joe Biden help working-class voters by creating “millions of good-paying jobs.”

Harrison wrote: “This is complete bullshit…Biden was the ultimate hard worker. The President in my lifetime saved union pensions, created millions of good paying jobs, and even went on the picket line, and some of MVP’s plans would have made a fundamental difference. quality of life and closing the racial wealth gap among working people across the country.”

“From child tax credits to a $25K down payment on a home to Medicare covering seniors’ home health care costs. There are many options after the elections, and this one is not the best,” he concluded.
