Heidi Klum paired an orange dress with skinny peep-toe shoes

Heidi Klum knows the power of a barely there dresshaving modeled several of them during his distinguished career. However, she also knows when to stop. That’s exactly what she’s done in recent days.

On Wednesday, November 6th, Project Runway alum attended the 2024 Earthshot Prize in Cape Town, South Africa. The environment-themed event, hosted by Prince William, brought out some celebrities, including Nina Dobrev and Winnie Harlow. Although she steered clear of anything “shocking” in terms of revealing ensembles, Klum stood out in a draped dress that made her look like a Greek goddess.

On the matching green carpet, Klum stood out with a bold burst of color: tangerine. Recently, this color has become popular among many celebrities, including Blake Lively at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala.

Klum’s vibrant shade featured an asymmetrical detail at the shoulder and the other sleeve dropped almost to her elbow. The rest of the fitted look featured strategic draping at the waist and one leg, giving it a fluid movement.

She paired the nearly floor-length dress with a 2010s relic: metallic peep-toes. If this appearance is any indication, shoes with exposed toes may be ready for a comeback.

Maintaining the atmosphere of the event, Klum kept her accessories simple. With the exception of a few rings, she left everything else open. She also styled her hair in loose waves, another more minimalist choice by the supermodel.

Honorable Mention: “Prince’s Thrifty Suit”

Since hosting the event in 2020, the Prince of Wales has been a strong advocate for a sustainable dress code. And he practiced what he preached in a double-breasted jacket it was stockpiled in a London vintage shop. He even paired it with sneakers from purifiedcreated by a former Earthshot Prize finalist.

However, the nicest detail was his blue and white friendship bracelet. His daughter, Princess Charlotte, a noted Taylor Swift fan who attended the Eras Tour with her father, was was inspired to create a bracelet with the inscription “DAD”. Too cute.
