Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Election Live Streams: Kong, INDIA bloc are working on their own development, BJP’s agenda is Maharashtra’s progress, says Smriti Irani

Maharashtra, Jharkhand, live election broadcasts: Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his election campaign for the Maharashtra Assembly on October 13 with the unity slogan “Ek hai, toh safe hai”, complementing UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s “batenge to katenge” message. He urged Congress allies to force Rahul Gandhi to give a 15-minute speech praising V.D. Savarkar and Bal Thackeray, highlighting their significant contributions to the development of the country.

During his two election rallies, a prominent BJP leader criticized the Congress for promoting divisive politics on the basis of caste. He noted that since the rule of Jawaharlal Nehru, the party has consistently opposed the reservation policy.

Campaigning for the Mahayuti alliance, he highlighted their development achievements while describing the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) as lacking direction, comparing them to a dysfunctional machine in which coalition partners vie for control.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday slammed the BJP, rejecting their claims of ‘Roti, Beti and Mati’. At a public meeting at Gandia Hat Maidan, Ghatsil, he spoke about his government’s initiatives to ensure women’s safety. “We have launched schemes like Savitribai Phule Jhano Yojana for the safety of our daughters, which has 12 lakh students connected,” Soren said while supporting JMM MLA Ramdas Soren.

He indirectly criticized Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s statements on tribal safety in Madhya Pradesh while challenging the BJP’s claims of protecting “roti, beti and mati”, especially referring to the government’s response to women’s issues in Manipur.

Soren expressed confidence in the success of the JMM-led coalition in the elections.
