Joe Rogan rejects Kamala Harris podcast interview due to campaign demands

Joe Rogan says he pulled out of a podcast interview with Vice President Kamala Harris after her campaign made several demands, but insists he hopes it can still happen.

The mega-popular podcaster said that the Democratic presidential candidate’s team wanted him to visit them and their conversation would last only an hour.

“They suggested a date on Tuesday, but I would have to go to her, and they only wanted to spend an hour. I firmly believe that the best way to do this is in a studio in Austin,” Rogan said in a statement on X, adding that the Harris campaign “has not bypassed the creation of a podcast.”

“My sincere wish is just to have a nice conversation and get to know her as a person. I really hope we can make it happen.”

This comes after former President Donald Trump gave a three-hour in-studio interview on The Joe Rogan Experience last Friday.

The highly anticipated interview with the Republican candidate has already racked up more than 37 million views on YouTube since airing.

Meanwhile, Rogan’s refusal to compromise with Harris’ team follows reports that he had been in talks with her to meet for weeks, but they decided to pull the plug.
