Michelle Obama Stops Harris’ Campaign Speech to Help Audience

Michelle Obama stopped Harris-Waltz’s campaign speech to call attention to a man in the crowd who appeared to have passed out.

She was addressing a crowd in Atlanta, Georgia, when she noticed the excitement in the room.

“We need water right here,” she told assistants backstage.

“It’s hard to stand for that long, you’re probably all dehydrated,” she continued as security helped lift the women forward and over the front barrier to safety.

The former first lady refused to continue speaking until volunteers returned and collected the man’s shoes.

“She’s going to need some shoes,” she joked to the crowd’s applause.
