$1 Million Cash 5 Ticket Sold in Luzerne County

HAZLETON, PA. — A $1 million Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 Quick Cash ticket was sold in Luzerne County for the Oct. 25 drawing, lottery officials said Monday.

A jackpot ticket purchased at the Food Express store, located at 1003 North Vine Street in Hazleton, matched all five winning numbers – 2, 8, 11, 13 and 33. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.

The identity of the winner will remain unknown until the prize is claimed and the ticket is verified, the Pennsylvania Lottery said. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their Cash 5 base game prize and one year from the date of purchase for any Quick Cash prizes.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 30,800 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes in the same drawing. The Lottery encourages all players to check their tickets and visit a retail store to receive lower tier winnings.
