A tragic heart attack claims the life of a Russian paraglider on the eve of the World Championships | Shimla News

Russian paraglider dies from suspected heart attack

Kullu: Two foreign citizens are ready to take part in the tournament, which will be held from November 2 to 9. Paragliding World Cup died on the eve of the event in Himachal PradeshKangra district on Tuesday.
Suspect acute cardiovascular disease claimed the life of 50-year-old Russian citizen Alexei Kozlochkov in his hotel room in the village of Bir, and 65-year-old Belgian pilot Patrice Feyaerts died after a mid-air collision with a Polish paraglider after take-off in Bir-Billing. Feyaerts crashed into a tree and died instantly. The Polish paraglider was injured, but was not in any danger.
Alexey, who arrived on October 16, was visiting friends in Bir and training during the daytime. The police officer said the exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy report. Alexey never opened the door to his hotel room, despite repeated knocks. Police ruled out foul play. The employee said that department employees spoke with Alexei’s wife, who reported that he had a heart disease.
