Three seriously injured in Bellevue house explosion

Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries after explosion in a house in Bellevue.

OFD was called to the area of ​​50th Street and Robin Drive shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday.

The victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, officials said.

The Bellevue fire chief said seven people were in the home at the time of the incident.

An investigation is currently underway.

One person injured in shooting near Old Market in Omaha

Authorities are investigating early morning shooting near Old Market in downtown Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department says they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg near 13th and Howard streets just before 3 a.m. Friday.

The officer was a few blocks away when he heard gunshots and arrived on scene, a police lieutenant told 6 News.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

OPD is looking for potential suspects.

Omaha kidnapping suspect to appear in court Friday

The fourth person will be court appearance on Friday in connection with a kidnapping case in Omaha.

Police say 35-year-old Cottrell Knight was the driver involved in the abduction of a woman in September. He was arrested Wednesday on a warrant.

If convicted, Knight could face life in prison.

Texts cause confusion over proposed Fischer-Osborne debate on Friday

Several people on the subway report receiving text messages about a proposed debate between Senator Deb Fischer and Dan Osborne, who is running for office Nebraska place in the US Senate.
