A woman flies from Canada to the UK to see a new play about a group of men, including her grandfather, who are jailed after a train crash.

Cramlington Railway Destroyers, external tells the story of how striking miners sabotaged the London-Edinburgh railway in Northumberland in 1926.

Katie Bowles, granddaughter of Willie Baker, was born and raised in Carlisle, Cumbria, where her family moved in 1950 but now lives in Canada.

“When I heard about the play, I felt like I had to go home to see it,” she said.
