The adopted puppy went on tour with singer Pink

(CNN) – Singer Pink has a new, temporary friend who’s traveling with her as she tours the country.

The rescued puppy was found in the forest in Arkansas and eventually entered the singer’s life.

Founded on the belief that every animal deserves a second chance, Jak’s Second Chance Ranch takes in pets facing neglect, provides them with the medical treatment and care they need, and prepares them for life in loving foster homes.

They recently had to adopt out a whole family of dogs.

“We got a call from a family in Vilonia who found a momma dog in their backyard and they needed help essentially getting the puppies out of the woods,” Jenny Wall-Bridge, director of Jak’s Second Chance. , said. “They were under a pile of debris as they drove down the four-wheeler trail. So, I got in the car and went to check it out. When I saw the mom and the condition she was in and saw where the puppies were, I really worried they might not be safe there.”

A little girl named Autumn, who loves puppies, was sneaking into the woods near her home to feed her mother dog.

As soon as her mother found out, she called Jack’s emergency services to help.

“Unfortunately, we live in a community where dog dumping is quite common. So, we’ve seen this before,” said Becky Harding, Autumn’s mother. “But during this rescue, I caught the girls on an ATV and they were carrying dog food into the forest. I wondered what they were doing, so I got on an ATV and they took me there. I saw Autumn the dog mom and we saw the puppies. We immediately realized that this was more than I could take on. I had to call someone for help. There was no doubt that I would call Jenny and they were able to leave. It just so happened that the day they were rescued was Miss Autumn’s birthday.

After the rescue, the mother dog was named after Autumn.

Jack’s rescuers adopted all but five of the puppies and turned to another organization called The Bond Between, a non-profit animal rescue organization in Minnesota, for help.

“We heard about Autumn and her puppies from Jack and ended up saying yes to them, bringing them to Minnesota. They went to a loving foster home,” said Rachel Mayrose, founder and executive director of The Bond Between.

One of the raised puppies goes on tour with singer Pink.

“We got an email early in the afternoon that said, ‘Hi, I’m Pink’s manager.’ She wants to adopt one of these puppies.” Three hours later, we meet Pink at the Excel Energy Center just before her performance. It’s been a whirlwind and it’s crazy to think that this little puppy that was found in the woods is now touring with Pink. It’s just amazing,” Mayrose said.

The Bond Between also reports that Pink has previously helped three other dogs find homes during past tours.

As for Pink’s new pal, his name is Graham Cracker, and it has yet to be announced whether he has found a forever home.
