Two people are dead in a crash in northwest Bexar County, the ME office says.

BEXAR COUNTY, TX – UPDATE: Two people were killed in a crash Tuesday afternoon in northwest Bexar County, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed.

The identities of the dead have not been established.

It is unknown how many people were injured in the crash.

ORIGINAL STORY: A fatal crash has closed roads in northwest Bexar County, police said. Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. near Boerne on westbound Interstate 10 near the Fair Oaks Parkway access road.

One person was reported dead at the scene, and the remaining occupants were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, BCSO said.

It is unknown how many people were injured in the crash.

Traffic on the access road will be diverted to another route until further notice.

Traffic on the main westbound lanes of I-10 should not be affected, BCSO said.
