‘Atlantis Jr.’ would like to see his ROH TV title rematch against Brian Cage take place in Mexico

Atlantis Jr. reflects on winning the Ring of Honor World Television Title from Kyle Fletcher in Mexico.

Atlantis Jr. spent 106 days in the Ring of Honor World Television Championship before losing it to Brian Cage at AEW WrestleDream: Zero Hour. Now he reflects on his championship reign and what it meant to him to hold the championship belt representing a major American promotion.

Mark Shapiro says Vince McMahon has a positive view of WWE management, but ‘he’s completely out of business’

Atlantis Jr. told Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp during a recent interview that he always wanted to win a championship in America. He also says that he would like to have a rematch with Brian Cage for the championship in his home country of Mexico, and that he would be grateful if he were given another title opportunity in All Elite Wrestling.

“It was a very good experience and a moment that I will never forget. I’m the Mexican champion, but I wanted to have a US champion. Now that CMLL has an audience like MLW and AEW, I wanted a big match, so I went to the United States and said, “Can I have a title match?” CMLL and AEW said, “Okay, if you’re ready, you can have the match.” I challenged Kyle Fletcher for the TV title in Mexico City. If you watch my match, my face was like this (surprised look) and now wrestlers come to Mexico or I go to the United States to defend. This is a moment I will never forget. I’ve had matches with AEW and Ring of Honor superstars. I lost the title to superstar Brian Cage. If I win the title in Mexico, it will be a moment. Mexico title now I want to bring another title to Mexico City. If AEW gives me another opportunity to compete on a team or for the AEW Championship, I will be very happy to get closer to that audience because I want to grow every day. ”
