Carlos Corberan’s thoughts on the Burnley draw

Carlos Corberan believes both Albion and Burnley had chances to take all three points on Thursday night, but admits the visitors created “clearer” opportunities at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies came close behind John Swift, Karlan Grant, Callum Stiles and Tom Fellows in the first 45 before Grady Diangana nodded at the death.

After the break, Burnley put the ball in the net through Jadon Anthony, but his powerful header was ruled out.

Former Baggie Jeremy Sarmiento forced Alex Palmer into a fine save and Lucas Pires also hit the post from the edge of the area.

The head coach says his team weren’t fearless enough when they were in front of goal or making decisions in the attacking zone.
