Fortune Fire: A wildfire broke out on Highway 5 South near South Templin Highway near Castaic.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY (KABC) — A fire broke out Friday on Highway 5 South near Castaic, closing several lanes.

The so-called Luck Fire, which burned about five acres, began burning sometime around 5 p.m. near South Templin Highway.

Since then, all southbound lanes of Highway 5 have been closed as firefighters continue their work.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
