On Friday’s episode of This Morning, co-stars Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary received a surprise reprimand from Alice Beer for chatting too long after returning from a commercial break.

When the program went commercial-free, the host duo joked about upcoming segments. Still, Alice Beer was noticeably less enthusiastic as she couldn’t wait for her segment and pulled up her chair in exasperation.

Her frustration reached its peak when she exclaimed, “You know what, I was so bored! I just stand there forever. Lord, keep talking. Then, when you get to my subject, it will be: “You.” I have one minute left.”

The presenters could hardly contain their laughter, but tensions rose when Alison accidentally called Alice the wrong name. She commented: “Alison, you’re helping us…”

Furious, Alice retorted: “Who is Alison?!” How old? How many? I mean, you can get away with calling Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Rob, but Alice Beer?!”

Amid Alison’s uproarious laughter, Dermot hastened to apologize for the mistake. But the scene turned comical when Alice pointed out that a wardrobe malfunction had led to chaos in the set, the publication reported. Mirror.

She noted: “What you don’t realize is that you’re sweeping things off the shelf with your pants, look! You’re making such a mess.”

Ironically, Alison was stunned when she realized she had accidentally broken an item on set.

Alice confirmed that the vase broke during their conversation as the sound of glass breaking echoed throughout the studio, marking the funny incident.

Dermot interjected to Alice: “The point is that what you say is actually very important.”

She replied: “Of course! But it’s also joyful, so it’s okay.”

The ITV star then told viewers she would be helping them research their family trees and highlighted online sites offering special deals this weekend for those wanting to find out more about their ancestry.

Despite this, Alison seemed unable to come to terms with the fact that she damaged one of the props on set, adding: “Did I really break it? I don’t remember. Oh my God, I’m so sorry. I’ll replace it.” it is, I promise, I will replace it.”

This wasn’t the only awkward moment Alison experienced on the programme, as she also mistakenly mentioned Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton with the wrong name.
