Chaos erupted at the Timothée Chalome look-alike competition in Washington Square Park on Sunday when police broke up the event, calling it an unlawful assembly.

At least one shaggy-haired Chalamet lookalike was handcuffed by police as the crowd shouted, “Let him go!”

After the crowd was dispersed, dozens of crowd members moved to Mercer’s playground, where more than a half-dozen remaining Chalamet hopefuls began rounds of speed dating with female fans.

Chalamet is best known for his starring roles in Call Me by Your Name, Dune and, most recently, Wonka.
