Prakash Raj says he feels helpless as he talks about the tragic death of his five-year-old son Sidharth: ‘Pain is very…’

Prakash Raj in a recent interview spoke about the tragic death of his son and said that he feels helpless.

Prakash Raj, who recently appeared in Devara: Part 1 with Janhvi Kapoor Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan, shared his feelings about the loss of his 5-year-old son Sidharth, who passed away in 2004.

Actor, then married to ex-wife Lalita Kumari, said he felt “helpless” after his son’s death. Speaking to ABP, Prakash said, “Pain is very personal, be it my friend Gauri (Gauri Lankesh) or my son Sidharth. But then I just can’t become selfish. I have daughters, I have a family, I have a profession, I have people. As a human being, I have a life and I am also responsible for it.”

Prakash Raj noted that he prefers to share his joys rather than his pain, as this helps him cope with personal difficulties. He noted: “Some wounds are deeper than the flesh, and you have to live with that.”

“I’m human. It worries me, it hurts me, I feel very helpless. But then let’s find reasons to live. Death is always near in the end,” he concluded.

Prakash’s son Raja died tragically in an accident while flying a kite; he fell from a foot-high table. Reflecting on his son’s death in an interview with the Times of India, the actor said, “While flying a kite from a one-foot-high table, he fell to the ground. He had seizures for several months after this. after which he died. Nobody could understand what the reason was. His death was more than any other grief for me.”

On the work front, Prakash Raj will be seen in Thalapathy 69, Pushpa 2: Rule and Bagheera.
