The star of the second season of The Night Manager shared a new photo from filming with Tom Hiddleston

Morrone shared his photo Instagram and wrote, “Pine and Roxanne from MIA have been hard at work bringing you the second season of The Night Manager.”

While the image doesn’t reveal much, we now know the name MorroneAs shown in her post, the character is Roxanne. It was previously confirmed that Daisy Jones and the six The star’s role will be the main one in the upcoming part.

And, of course, Hiddleston reprises his starring role as Jonathan Pine.

They will join returning characters such as Olivia ColmanAngela Burr, Alistair Petrie’s Sandy Langbourne, Douglas Hodge’s Rex Mayhew, Michael Nardone’s Frisky and Noah Jupa’s Daniel Roper.

There are a number new faces Diego Calva (Babylon), Indira Varma (Doctor Who), Paul Shahidi (Evil little letters) and Hayley Squires (Inside No. 9) is all on board for season two of The Night Manager.

On the return of the cast, Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama, said in a statement: “Olivia Colman’s award-winning performance as Angela Burr in the first series of The Night Manager was unforgettable and we are over the moon to have her back with us.” Tom Hiddleston.

“We have such a strong cast and with Alistair Petrie, Douglas Hodge, Michael Nardone and Noah Jupe returning and filming commencing in London, The Night Manager season two promises to provide even more drama, glamour, intrigue and tension.”

While we’re starting to get some small details about the cast, not much is known about the content of the new season itself. However, we do know that the time between seasons will be reflected in the narrative and will begin eight years after the original series.

Speaking earlier with Deadline about that time jump Hiddleston said: “What makes me really happy is that it’s been eight or nine years since the first season.”

He added: “These characters have been alive in the world for the last eight or nine years and I think, hopefully, our show will reflect that… and we can create the same chemistry that we created in the first series.”
