Mandatory evacuations ordered due to fire near Divide in Teller County

TELLER COUNTY, CO. A fire burning near Divide has prompted mandatory evacuations and pre-evacuation orders, according to Teller County Sheriff’s Office.

Evacuation orders have been issued for the following areas:

View of the Alps
Aspen Village
Beaver Lake Circle
Beaver Lake Place
broken wheel
Division east of Highland Lakes
Golden Bell Lane
Highland Lakes Division
Star View Trail

The following areas are under advance evacuation warning:

Highland Lakes Division
Copper Lake Drive
Buck Lake Drive

The fire is burning near Beaver Lake Circle, which is located off Blue Mesa Drive northwest of Divide.
