YouTube expands shopping partner program in India

This feature allows creators with advertising rights to promote their products by linking their stores to their YouTube channels and tagging products in their videos. However, to be eligible for the program, creators must have at least 10,000 subscribers and have their channels listed in the affiliate program. The program is already live in many markets, including the US, Australia, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand and Brazil.

Meta will use Reuters content for AI chatbot

Reuters reported that Meta will use the publisher’s news content for its AI chatbot to answer user questions regarding real-time news and current events. The deal marks the latest collaboration between a major news publisher and major technology companies. Neither company has yet disclosed financial details of the partnership.

Microsoft expects to report slowest quarterly revenue growth in a year

Microsoft is expected to report its slowest quarterly revenue growth in a year as financial analysts cite the tech giant’s rising capital spending and lack of evidence of investment in AI, among other concerns. However, it has made clear that its AI spending will remain high. The company’s overall revenue is expected to rise 14.1% to $64.51bn (£49.68bn) in the September quarter, according to analysts surveyed by LSEG.
