The draw for the quarter-finals of the League Cup will take place this evening when the competition reaches the last eight stage.

Current champions Liverpool remain in the cup and they are eyeing another successful run in their upcoming fourth round tie against Brighton.

Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and now without Manchester United manager everyone is also trying to book a place in the last stages.

The fourth round matches will take place this week, with the quarter-final matches taking place in the week commencing 17 December.

Carabao Cup The quarter-final draw will take place on Wednesday 30 October.

It will take place after the conclusion of the Tottenham – Manchester City match and is expected around 22:30.

The final of the competition this season will take place later than usual.

The exhibition match at Wembley is usually played in February, but this season it will take place on Sunday 16 March.

  • Quarter-finals: week of December 17th.
  • Semi-finals: January 8 (first leg) and February 5 (return leg).
  • Final: March 16.
