CVTG presents One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The Chippewa Valley Theater Guild presents One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, November 7-17.

News release:

Convicted of a petty crime, a charming and rebellious conman named Randle McMurphy manages to serve his short sentence in a spacious mental hospital rather than in prison.

He soon learns that this was a mistake. He immediately clashes with the authoritarian head nurse, the cruel and tyrannical Nurse Ratched. Despite Ratched’s strict rule, McMurphy quickly takes over the court, prompting the others to stage a rebellion so they can watch the World Series on television. But McMurphy’s brash defiance may have consequences in this brilliant adaptation of Ken Kesey’s famous novel.
