The 2024 NJPW Super Junior League Finals have been set.

For the second year in a row, TJP and Francesco Akira are headed to the NJPW Super Junior Tag League finals.

The tournament final will feature Block A winners Robbie Eagles and Kousei Fujita against Block B winners TJP and Akira. This was confirmed today when TJP and Akira walked out of their block. The finals will take place at NJPW Power Struggle this Monday.

On Saturday, the final day of Block B play, there was a logjam in the standings with all six teams tied on points. TJP and Akira defeated The DKC and Ninja Mack to advance to the finals thanks to tiebreakers over the other two teams finishing with six points. They own victories over KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight, as well as Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X earlier in the tournament.

Here is the final standings for Block B:

  • TJP and Francesco Akira (3-2): 6 points
  • KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight (3-2): 6 points
  • Taiji Ishimori and Robbie Ickx (3-2): 6 points
  • YOH and Rocky Romero (2-3): 4 points
  • DKC and Ninja Mac (2-3): 4 points
  • Paris De Silva and Jude London (2-3): 4 points

TJP and Akira won last year’s Super Junior Tag League and went on to become the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions at Wrestle Kingdom 18. The belts are currently held by KUSHIDA and Knight, with either Eagles & Fujita or TJP and Akira next in line. challenge them in Tokyo Dome.
