Solo Sikoa & The Bloodline defeat Roman Reigns & The Usos (via Pinfall)

Crown Jewel 2024 began with the Bloodline War. But there were signs of mistrust between “OTC” Roman Reigns and The Usos. Jey Uso was looking to start against Tama Tong. The former Intercontinental Champion also showed off some of the vintage tag team moves alongside his brother Jimmy Uso as they looked to take control.

But Jey Uso showed no such sentiments when it came to Roman Reigns, as The Bloodline looked to take advantage of the division when Solo Sikoa hit two consecutive Samoan Spikes to pin Roman Reigns for the victory.

After the match, The Bloodline look to punish their opponents even more. Surprisingly, Sami Zayn entered and seemingly made his choice to support his former teammates and attack Solo Sikoa. With the new Tribal Chief backed into a corner, Zayn also switched to attacking Roman Reigns, leaving the situation in a state of uncertainty.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defend the Women’s Tag Team Championship (via Pinfall)

Next up was the women’s team competition. Ayo Sky took control at the start with her ambitious moves that impressed the crowd in Saudi Arabia. But soon after, the powers that be tried to take control, and Chelsea Green bore much of the punishment.

Amidst the chaos, Greene somehow contacted Piper Nevin, who wanted to deliver the Snake Bomb. But Cargill showed his cheek by putting Greene down instead. Nevin attempted to climb back up to the second rope, but Cargill showed off her strength by lifting her onto her shoulders while Bianca Belair climbed to the top rope to deliver a flying clothesline to pick up the victory and defend their titles.

Seth Rollins defeats Bronson Reed (via Pinfall)

The match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed didn’t take long to build as Rollins went right after Reed as he came out. However, Reed looked to take control early in the match, but was unable to follow through as he spent most of the time toying with his opponent. Reed, however, eventually regretted it.

When Bronson Reed tried to use the steel steps to attack Rollins, the latter took advantage and attacked his knee to turn the tide in his favor. “The Architect” then continued to attack Reed with several curb slams and finished it off with a top rope curb slam to pick up the win via pinfall.

As Rollins wanted to get out of the ring, Reed stood up to show that he was down but was not eliminated, showing that the rivalry could continue in the future.

Liv Morgan defeats Nia Jax (via Pinfall)

Liv Morgan may have had her toughest test yet when she took on Nia Jax. The latter started off on a dominant note, using her size to her advantage in the contest. As she continued to dominate the competition, Morgan’s team of Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez entered the ring and Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton made her way and tried to find cash in her briefcase.

Following Jax’s intervention, the cashing process was interrupted, leading to chaos. Morgan and Rodriguez attempted to confront Stratton, after which Jax bulldozed the trio. Just as Jax was about to end the match, Mysterio played interference, allowing Morgan to get the finisher and then the three count. Triple H came to the ring to crown Morgan the first Crown Jewel Champion.

Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens (No Contest)

The bell didn’t even ring when Kevin Owens began punishing his former comrade Randy Orton. The attacks were mostly one-sided, with Orton suffering the most. However, The Viper tried to fight back in the blink of an eye, but was unable to capitalize.

Owens even delivered a stunning blow to the referee, prompting even more officials to enter the ring. Both trainers also made it through, but Orton frustratingly also hit an RKO on Adam Pearce.

But Owens’ punishment did not stop as the fight reached the crowd, where Kevin jumped off the barricade to deliver an elbow strike to Orton as the broadcast was cut off.

Los Angeles Knight defeats Carmelo Hayes and Andrade (via Pinfall)

Andrade and Camelo Hayes appeared to be going after each other to renew their rivalry. Champion Los Angeles Knight allowed the two to operate with a more sensible approach. But these two caught on and threw the champion out of the ring.

While Knight is outside the ring, Andrade and Hayes hope to make a couple of sharp moves, giving the champion time to recover. He hopes to come back and attack the other two, but doesn’t take this into account.

Carmelo Hayes looked to hit Andrade, but Los Angeles Knight intervened midway through to deliver the BFT to pick up the win by pinfall and retain the championship.

Cody Rhodes defeats Gunther (via Pinfall)

Cody Rhodes and Gunther went toe-to-toe to start the fight. Both men wanted to show off their wrestling skills, but it was clear that Gunther’s prediction was playing in Cody’s head. Just as Gunther was about to grab the sleeper, Rhodes immediately tried to push past him, showing that he was well aware of the sleeper’s capture.

Gunther looks to continue attacking Cody with multiple moves to wear him down. But Cody’s back seemed to give out as he tried to strike, but he found the strength to do it on the second try and then released Falcon’s arrow. He then proceeds to hit a superplex off the top rope, giving him time to recover.

Cody then hits the Cody Cutter and goes for the pin, but Gunther hits a dropkick for 2. The American Nightmare hits a Catastrophic Kick, but Gunther reverses into a Boston Crab hold and then switches to a sleeper hold. But Cody fights back to land a knockout blow and then proceeds to hit Cross Rhodes.

Just as Rhodes was about to finish with a Super Cody-Cutter, Gunther replaced it with a sleeper submission. But Cody had the last laugh as Rhodes rolled back to take Gunther’s shoulders down for a strike.
