Chris Martin fell through a trapdoor on stage during a Coldplay concert

Chris Martin is the last musician to take the stage during the concert.

The British singer and his band Coldplay are performing around the world as part of their Music of the Spheres world tour. The band recently traveled to Australia for a series of shows in Melbourne, Australia, at Marvel Stadium, where Martin experienced a slightly scary moment on stage.

On November 3, a fan captured the moment Martin fell backwards through a manhole. IN clip published on XMartin is shown talking to the crowd when he loses his balance and trips.

“Wow!” the audience gasps collectively as the Coldplay frontman falls and briefly looks back to figure out what happened.

“This is not planned,” Martin says as he emerges from the hatch and thanks the crewman for his capture.

“Thank you guys. Holy crap! It was almost a YouTube moment,” he added and continued the show.

Martin and his band played four shows in Melbourne and will continue their tour with four more shows in Sydney, Australia. Their final shows this year will be in Auckland, New Zealand, and next year they will return to tour for more shows around the world.

Martin’s fall occurred about a month after Olivia Rodrigo’s. fell on stage at an exhibition in Melbourne. Last month, several fans uploaded videos of Rodrigo pointing at the crowd and running around the stage before she fell through a hole on the stage. There was an audible knock.

She immediately jumped out and said, “Oh my God! It was fun.” She assured fans that she was fine and joked: “Wow! Sometimes there’s just a hole on the stage.”

Rodrigo, who is not afraid to poke fun at herself, later shared a video of her fall on TikTok.

She included the hashtag “subtle omen” in her caption.
