TUI Cruises has lifted the curtain on its new build Mine Schiff Flowgiving cruise observers a glimpse into the design of the ship’s interior and exterior spaces.

The 4,000-guest ship is second in the inTUItion class after Mine Schiff Relax. Both vessels are being built at the same Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

Mine Schiff Relaxalso accommodating 4,000 guests, will debut in spring 2025 and Mine Schiff Flow in 2026.

The cruise line promises that guests on board Mine Schiff Flow enjoy “a new way to experience lightness.” For example, a three-deck atrium will be the centerpiece of the ship, with natural light pouring in through huge windows.

Airy design is integrated throughout the ship, especially in the lounge areas and restaurants. Atlantic’s main dining room will be located at the stern of the ship and will feature large windows on decks four and five, providing guests with magnificent views of the sea.

The lounge at the bow of the ship, called the Captain’s Bar, also offers stunning views of the ocean, similar to what the ship’s captain would see from the bridge.

Other notable establishments include French eatery Sur Mer Bistro, where guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating while enjoying fresh pastries and other treats.

Open spaces are created with relaxing sea views in mind. ship nameannounced in October 2024, refers to “go with the flow” relaxation.

Rest and relaxation is the goal of two outdoor locations: the Agora on Deck 16 and the expansive swimming pool on Deck 17.

The Agora will be designed to look like the square of a Greek village, but with the luxury of an infinity pool, live music, food and drink. Guests can relax on sun loungers or cushions while sunbathing or enjoying the shade under the traditional Greek-style Marcona roof.

One deck up, guests will find an 80-foot pool, lounge furniture and a variety of cocktails at Bar 17. Heading up to Deck 19, the Mistral Deck, guests can get a full workout in the ship’s soft-floored fitness center.

The Mein Schiff Flow Hotel’s spacious outdoor areas allow guests to leave everyday life behind and enjoy every moment of the trip.» said Christine Boos, Mein Schiff’s head of hospitality..

My personal favorite is the Marcoon Floating Treadmill – the experience of interacting with a special piece of art and overlooking the pool landscape.» Boos added.

In addition to a restaurant and lounge and outdoor deck space, both inTUItion class vessels will be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which will significantly reduce emissions, and will be equipped to connect to shore power.

Onshore power infrastructure allows ships to connect to local power grids and turn off their engines while in port, reducing pollution at their destination ports.

Cruise line poised for major capacity expansion

In addition to the two ships currently under construction, TUI Cruises recently welcomed another new ship: Main Schiff 7which entered service in June 2024. The 2,900 guest ship is not an InTUItion class ship.

Built at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. Main Schiff 7 was baptized at sea and is currently based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. The ship operates 7- and 14-day itineraries to several ports in the Canary Islands.

When Mine Schiff Flow Will enter service in 2026. She will be the cruise line’s third new ship in as many years, with all three ships increasing TUI Cruises’ fleet capacity by almost 60%. The cruise line’s goals include opening new markets for its ships.

Based in Germany, TUI Cruises was established in 2007 and is a 50/50 joint venture between Royal Caribbean Group and TUI AG.
