Three best submachine guns that we recommend using in Black Opera 6 multiplayer is Jackal PDW, C9, And Tanto .22.

We would recommend the Jackal PDW as the best SMG in Black Ops 6. Although this weapon was an absolute beast in the beta, it is still one of the most powerful weapons in the game at the moment. With a high rate of fire and decent damage, it’s really effective at close to mid-range.

However, we would advise you to bring some equipment with you that will help reduce recoil, otherwise you will miss a lot of shots. Here are our recommended investments for Jackal PDW in Black Ops 6:

  • Optics: Dobrych M.F. Reflex
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Under-barrel: Vertical handle
  • Rear handle: Quick release handle
  • Fire mods: Return springs

If you prefer to be a sliding threat, be sure to replace Quickdraw Grip with CQB Grip to make aiming easier while sliding and diving.

C9

How to unlock: Reach level 4

Basic rate of fire: 732 rpm

Basic ADS speed: 210 ms

C9 will be useful for those who are still in the early levels of multiplayer gaming. With a high rate of fire and a small spread between damage checkpoints, you should definitely use this on any SMG loadout until you unlock more powerful weapons.

The best way to design it for long-range shooting is to use attachments that improve the weapon’s accuracy and mobility. Below are the attachments we recommend using for the C9 in Black Ops 6:

  • Optics: Accurate voice scout
  • Muzzle: Ported compensator
  • Under-barrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear handle: Commando capture
  • Stock: Balanced stock

Alternatively, if you prefer greater accuracy over mobility, you can replace the balanced stock with a recoil spring fire modification that will give it a little more advantage at longer ranges. Also consider carrying the Long Barrel attachment, which increases the range to 16.5m for effective damage and 35.5m for minimal damage.

For more information on how to use the C9, see our dedicated Equipment C9 page.

Tanto 22

How to unlock: Reach level 16

Basic rate of fire: 441 rpm

Basic ADS speed: 200 ms

Base Damage: 45 Headshot, 38 Upper Body, 38 Lower Body

Base Range: 6.3 m for effective engagement range and 25.4 m for minimum engagement range at a bullet speed of 560 m/s.

Tanto is a bit of a poor choice among its peers. The slow fire rate may take some getting used to, but it makes up for it with high damage and decent accuracy. While we wouldn’t recommend you use this in mobile builds, it is really useful for clearing rooms and dealing with threats at close range.

If you want to use this weapon in one of your loadouts, here are the recommended attachments for the Tanto 22 in Black Ops 6:

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Under-barrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear handle: Quick release handle
  • Stock: Balanced stock
  • Fire mods: Return springs

If you don’t like the sights on the Tanto, replace the balanced stock with an optic of your choice. While the fire rate of this weapon leaves much to be desired, you shouldn’t jump at the Rapid Fire Fire mod for all the shortcomings it brings in terms of accuracy and damage.

If you want details on using this weapon in a build, see our dedicated section. Tanto Equipment 22 page for more information.
