Trump’s latest victory: Putin ready to talk to ‘bullied’ Trump – and warns fight for new world order is underway | US News

Donald Trump says he has spoken with more than 70 world leaders.

Israel

According to Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu called to congratulate him.

“I’ve known him for years, but we had a very good, you know, very good conversation, and not again (sic) without a lot of details or anything,” the president-elect said.

China

Trump spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Ukraine

The election winner said that he had an “interesting” conversation with Vladimir Zelessky.

For his part, Zelensky said: “We agreed to maintain close dialogue and develop our cooperation. Strong and steadfast U.S. leadership is vital to peace and a just world.”

United Kingdom

Sir Keir Starmer trumpeted his phone call, calling it “very positive” and “very constructive”.

“The special relationship between the UK and the US has historically developed in very difficult circumstances.

“Our general view is that this is as important today as it has ever been.”

France

Trump said he had a “wonderful” conversation with Emmanual Macron.

Italy

He said he had spoken with Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, adding: “She is very good, very, very good.”

Hungary

Viktor Orban said he called Trump in a message on X: “We have big plans for the future.”

South Korea

Trump called South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol. His office said: “We will work to establish ideal security ties between South Korea and the United States with the new administration.”

Japan

The president-elect spoke with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

The Prime Minister told reporters that they spoke for a “very friendly” five minutes, during which they agreed to meet “as soon as possible.”

“I had the impression that he was someone I could talk to openly,” Ishiba said.

India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he had a “great conversation with my friend.”

“We look forward to working closely again to further strengthen the Indo-U.S. relationship.”
