Trump turns the tide on transgender madness | VICTOR JOX | Victor Jox | Opinion

Protecting women’s sports is a winning cause, at least for those willing to fight for it.

Donald Trump will soon return to the White House. I think this is very good for the country, although I know that many of my readers think differently. There will be plenty of time to discuss Trump’s plans to close the border, stimulate the economy and reduce energy costs.

But before you move on from the election, consider how Trump has approached transgender issues.

Let us remember that many in the Democratic Party I believe that men can become womenthat a man who says he is a woman must compete on women’s sports teams and be accepted in women’s locker rooms.and this schools should teach children this madness. They believe doctors should be allowed to remove the breasts of young girls and the penises of young boys.

Read this again. I know, this is unpleasant to readbut he has happened thousands of times across the country.

These politicians deeply unpopular. But the propaganda press doesn’t force repulsive details on Democrats. The left hides its radicalism behind soft euphemisms and insults those who dare to object.

When Republicans cower in fear of such tactics, they lose. But this is not Trump. He is struggling. No wonder so many Republicans love him.

He spent tens of millions of dollars in advertising attacking Vice President Kamala Harris for supporting taxpayer-funded gender reassignment surgeries for prisoners. He also criticized her for supporting men participating in women’s sports. One ad on the issue “shifted the race 2.7 percentage points in Trump’s favor after viewers watched it.” The New York Times reported this..

The question was so effective that, according to the Times, former President Bill Clinton said privately, “We should answer it and say we won’t do this.” The Harris campaign did not follow this advice.

Other Democrats tried. Colin Allred, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives who ran for the US Senate from Texas, once co-authored the Equality Act. This innocuous bill would force schools to allow men to participate in women’s sports. But during his election campaign he said he did not support it.

Sam Brown is likely to narrowly lose to Senator Jacky Rosen. But he beat his Real Clear Politics polling average by 4 points.. Weeks before the election, Brown openly supported the refusal of the UNR volleyball team to play against a person from the San Jose State team. Even though he is unlikely to win, Brown’s stance on the issue has clearly helped him.

Democrats could take the issue off the agenda, belatedly returning to a position that nearly everyone agreed on 10 years ago. Adults can make their own decisions, but you can’t impose your misconceptions on the rest of us, especially children.

This is unlikely. One of the battlegrounds will be the Clark County School District, which has elected three incredible leaders – Emily Stevens, Lydia Dominguez and Lorena Biassotti. Left already upset, they may oppose the county’s efforts to indoctrinate transgender people.

Nevada Republicans, unfortunately, including Governor Joe Lombardogenerally avoid this battle. This is a mistake, both substantively and politically.

Look at the elections. Voters need leaders who will stand up to the transgender madness of the left.
