Columbus Clingstones Call on Fans to Name New Mascot

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus Clingstones Baseball Team introduced last month as the new Atlanta Braves Double-A affiliate in Fountain City. Now the team is inviting the public to help name the peach mascot.

The competition is open for applications until November 6th. From November 12 to 18, fans will be able to vote for the final four names.

The Clingstones will play their first game at Cynovus Park on April 15 at 7:05 p.m. against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
