Best Black Ops 6 Weapons to Level Up for Warzone Season 1

war zone integrates with Black Opera 6 November 14th and all new weapons will be coming to the battle royale. BO6 has a great selection, so this means a new meta for sure.

Although your level will be reset when new season is comingYour weapon progress will be saved. So while you’ll have to unlock these weapons again by beating multiplayer, you can be ready to equip the meta modules right away.

C9

C9 this is the first PPM you unlock in Black Ops 6, but don’t let that fool you, this is one of the best weapon in the game. While a couple of other SMGs are faster kills at point blank range, the C9’s versatile nature allows it to shine.

It kills quickly, is easy to use, mobile and has excellent aim. Paired with one of the long-range assault rifles or machine guns on the list, you’ll have an extremely dominant loadout.

PP-919

Although PP-919 It is let down by the slower TTK, the huge magazine size and low recoil more than compensate for this. Warzone players have 300 HP when fully armored, so you’ll have to use a lot of bullets to take down multiple enemies, and this submachine gun will allow you to do that.

With a default 64-round magazine, you can focus your attachments on improving its mobility, recoil control, and damage while still being able to take down multiple enemies without having to reload.

XM4

You need to have something that you can use from the start, and XM4 – Ideal choice for low-level downloads.

Low recoil, decent kill time and mobility, you’ll never feel underpowered with this classic game. Assault rifle in your hands. There are better options at later levels, but it’s hard to go wrong with this fan favorite.

Model L

Model L is essentially a better version of the XM4. Despite having the same time to kill, the Model L is easier to use and has a slightly faster bullet speed by default, which is crucial for long-range combat in Warzone.

I would recommend sticking with the XM4 until you unlock the Model L and then just swap it out for a slightly better version while keeping the same overall look and playstyle.

AK-74

AK-74 behaves almost as you would expect – high damage is accompanied by slightly stronger recoil. Luckily in BO6 his recoil is not too difficult to control and he can be killed quickly.

With recoil control attachments, he can completely take over the meta at mid-to-long range, but given his short-range TTK, I wouldn’t be surprised if players build a mobile AK kit to use as sniper support.

AS VAL

Returning to Verdansk, AS VAL was an extremely popular sniper support weapon due to its incredible rate of fire and quick kill rate. He’s back in Black Ops 6 and he’s looking to reclaim that crown.

He has Short-range TTK better than some submachine guns but doesn’t have the same damage reduction, meaning you can use it in many situations and still have success. Verdansk returns in the spring of 2025, making the fan favorite’s return at the perfect time.

XMG

Thanks to their huge magazine sizes, LMGs are the perfect long-range weapon for Warzone – as long as their damage, bullet speed, and recoil control are up to par. Fortunately, XMG ticks all these boxes.

While its low mobility doesn’t make it one of the best guns in multiplayer, Warzone’s wide-open spaces will allow this fast-kill machine gun to shine, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes meta.

PU-21

It’s a toss-up between PU-21 and XMG both light machine guns kill faster than meta-ARs, but are most effective at slightly different ranges. The PU-21 kills faster up to 45 meters, while the XMG kills much faster up to 61 meters. Then PU-21 takes over the matter again.

I would recommend trying both and seeing which one you like better. While the XM4 has a larger magazine by default and is a bit easier to control, the firepower of the PU-21 may give it an advantage depending on your playstyle.

LR 7.62

Except for the time they couldn’t hit the head with one shot, Sniper rifles have always been the dominant choice in Warzone. LR 7.62 today is best sniper in Black Ops 6 and this should be true for the battle royale as well.

With high damage and the best bullet speed among snipers, there is no point in using anything other than LR 7.62 when sniping in Warzone.

Tsarkov 7.62

Longtime Warzone players remember Meta DMR and if we see this again, my money is on the line. Tsarkov 7.62. I can’t recommend it over any other gun on this list, but if single-shot guns prove to be dominant, it’s Marksman rifle will be the right choice.

Although it has a slower rate of fire than the Swat 5.56, it hits hard. If hit in the head with one shot at a distance of up to 35 meters, a hit in the head will cause the TTK to fall. Even when hit in the chest, it maintains best-in-class performance characteristics.

How to quickly upgrade weapons in BO6

The fastest and easiest way to level up weapons in Black Ops 6 multiplayer is to equip the “Dispatcher” and “Banroll” perks for bonus experience, then Play objective-based modes such as Hardpoint, Domination and Kill Confirmed.
