New England Patriots’ Drake May scores incredible game-saving touchdown

The New England Patriots will head to overtime against the Tennessee Titans after rookie cornerback Drake May added another incredible game to his young resume. As time ticked down and the Patriots stood at the goal line in the fourth quarter, May put several Titans defenders on skates to keep the game alive.

With four seconds left in the ball game, May fired a shotgun shot at the five-yard line. It started with him picking off two defenders before finding a receiver in the end zone. Then, as two more Titans players tackled him to the ground, he threw it to Rhamondre Stevenson for the game-tying touchdown with zero seconds left in the game.

May finished four quarters with 206 yards and a touchdown with one interception. He also added seven rushes for 84 yards.

The rookie sensation has the Patriots believing they have found their quarterback of the future, and with plays like this becoming the norm, he is on his way to big things in the NFL. Even with the poor outlook for the season, May is starting to gain momentum in New England’s offense, and he has now shown that in crunch time he is capable of leading his team 50 yards in a minute and 45 seconds to give them a chance.
