Lorraine’s mother desperately searches for missing daughter

LORAIN, Ohio (VOYO) – A Lorain family is offering a $10,000 reward in hopes of finding missing mother Desiree Long.

Police told 19 News she was last seen a month ago, but neither police nor her family know where she went next.

“Please call home, call someone, we want to talk to you, we want to see you. Your children want to talk to you. I want to talk to you. I need to see you, please come home.” said Michelle Long, Desiree’s mother.

The 33-year-old was last seen on Oct. 9, according to Lorain police. Detectives believe she may have been in Lorain or Cleveland.

“On the night she left, she was seen with another woman. We’re trying to track this woman down as well,” Detective Matt Hartman said.

Hartman, the detective on Desiree’s case, said she was last seen leaving her home and getting into a car near West 29th Street and Oberlin Avenue.

It is unknown whether it was a fellow passenger or a driver she knew.

However, Hartman has an advantage. He said activity was seen on her Facebook page in the days after she disappeared.

“We’ve since turned to Facebook to get all the login information and find out where the device is,” Detective Matt Hartman said.

Detectives are still waiting for that login information.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Desiree Long, please call Lorain Police.
