Ellis Cox: New image released in search of teen killer

Relatives have released a new image taken on the day Ellis Cox, 19, was killed on a Merseyside industrial estate as the search for his killer continues.

The photo, taken on doorbell video, shows Mr Cox outside his aunt’s house on June 23, picking up a bike at about 5pm BST before traveling to Southport.

Mr Cox was shot dead on Liver Industrial Estate in Aintree, Sefton, at approximately 11pm BST that same day.

In a statement released by Merseyside Police, his family said: “We are asking for your help. Who took Ellis from us? We are still searching for answers and need the support of Liverpool and our local community now more than ever.”
