Guernsey states are unclear how long Sark will continue to receive free flu jabs

The State of Guernsey said it did not know how long it had been mistakenly providing free flu vaccines in Sark.

Earlier this month, Health and Social Care (HSC) said it had supplied free flu jabs to the island due to an “internal miscommunication”.

The BBC learned the situation had been going on for “years”, but due to staff turnover Sark was unsure exactly how long.

A Guernsey spokesman confirmed it was “unclear” how long “this problem has existed”.
