Dry Weather, Temperatures Drop – Boston News, Weather, Sports

The air was sparse yesterday as it was only the second time this November that Boston reached 80+ degree temperatures. Although it didn’t reach the November 2, 1950 high of 83, the 82 we achieved was enough to break the daily record and mark a new last date in 80+ history.

Temperatures start off mild today and will reach around mid-70s before dropping back into the 60s by sunset and into the 30s and 40s by sunrise tomorrow. It will be windy again this afternoon and tomorrow.

Another front will move through tomorrow evening, allowing for a return to average values for the weekend.

The risk of wildfires will increase over the next few days and there won’t be much rain in the forecast. Partial showers will likely occur late Sunday or Monday morning, but this does not appear to be drought-like.
